Σήμερα το απόγευμα με πήραν τηλέφωνο από μια εταιρία δημοσκοπήσεων. Ο διάλογος είναι πραγματικός… Δε βαστήχτηκα.

"ναι βεβαίως, αλλά θα πρέπει πρώτα να γίνει τιμολόγηση" απαντώ
"τι εννοείτε;"
"εννοώ ότι μου ζητάτε κάποιες πληροφορίες…" και πριν προλάβω να τελειώσω:
"…ναι, αλλά μην ανησυχείτε, είναι ανώνυμα και το τηλέφωνό σας δε θα δημοσιευτεί", ανησυχώντας μήπως και φοβάμαι ότι θα γνωστοποιηθούν τα στοιχεία μου. Όμως οι προθέσεις μου ήταν άλλες.
"ναι, το καταλαβαίνω, αλλά δεν είναι εκεί το θέμα…" λέω
"τι θέμα υπάρχει;"
"είναι ότι πρέπει να σας τιμολογήσω για τις υπηρεσίες που θα σας προσφέρω", απαντώ και συνεχίζω:
"…κατανοείτε ότι είμαι επαγγελματίας και η ωριαία αμοιβή μου είναι 50 ευρώ" (μάλλον λίγα είπα).
"ε;" κολλάει η κοπελιά. Μάλλον κάτι τέτοιο δεν το έχει ξανακούσει
"μισό λεπτό παρακαλώ…" μου λέει, περιμένω στην αναμονή και με δίνει στην προϊσταμένη της
τουτ, τουτ, τουτ…
"ναι;" λέει μια φωνή
"ναι;" και εγώ
"τι θέλετε;" μου λέει με ολίγον απότομο ξινό τρόπο
"εγώ;" λέω
"ναι" μου λέει
"εσείς τι θέλετε", λέω
"θα συμμετάσχετε στη δημοσκόπηση;"
Άκου θράσος. Σαν τον μαθητή που δε θέλει να πάει στην εθνικοσοσιαλιστικού ρεαλισμού μαθητική παρέλαση του σχολείου και η δασκάλα το κοιτάει σαν κέρβερος.
"φυσικά, αλλά θα πρέπει πρώτα να γίνει μια τιμολόγηση"
"τι τιμολόγηση;" λέει
πάλι τα ίδια:
"για τις υπηρεσίες που μου ζητάτε, το κόστος είναι 50 ευρώ την ώρα, όπως και η ελάχιστη δυνατή απασχόληση"
"ποιες υπηρεσίες;"
"η πληροφορία που μου ζητάτε είναι μια υπηρεσία που χρεώνω"

Και πως θέλατε αγαπητή μου να γίνει; Όμως κατά τ' άλλα γίνεται να αποσπάτε μια δωρεάν πληροφορία από τον κόσμο (όχι εσείς προσωπικά ή η τηλεφωνήτρια, εσείς δυστυχισμένες υπάλληλοι είσαστε και μπλέξατε με τον ιδιότροπο, αλλά ο απατεώνας που βρίσκεται στο τιμόνι της εταιρίας σας) και να τη χρησιμοποιείτε για να εξάγετε διάφορα αυθαίρετα συμπεράσματα για τον οποιονδήποτε σας τα ζητήσει κατά παραγγελία, και από πάνω να αμείβεστε και αδρά για αυτή την υπηρεσία σας. Ε, όχι δα. Αν θέλετε, όπως τα ζητάτε από την ΠΑΣΟΚοΝΔ, το ΣΚΑΪ, το Μέγκα, τα Νέα την Καθημερινή, θα πληρώσετε και εμένα.

Kostas Simitis war President-Minister von 1996 bis 2004. Er war Wirtschaftsprofessor an einer Uni in Deutschland. Er war dergenise, der die Initiative ergriffen hat, dass Griechenland in Euro-zone als Mitglied beitritt, ohne dass die Wirtschaftsvoraussetzungen erfüllt werden. Es lässt sich annehmen, dass die meisten statistischen Wirtschaftsangaben sowohl vom griechschen Statistiks-Amt als auch von dem Wirtschaftsamt und der griechischen Nationalbank gefälscht wurden.

Der Beitritt wurde von der E.U. und der Eurostat genehmigt, obwohl sie in Kenntniss waren, dass die meisten Angaben nicht nichtig waren, haben aber nichts dagegen unternommen. Nach dem Beitritt ist der damalige Präsident der Griechischen Bank - Lukas Papadimos - zurück getreten und übernahm die Stelle des Vize-Präsidenten in der Zentralen Europäischen Bank. Später wurde er Präsident der griechischen Regierung.

Auf der anderen Seite setzt sich herr Daniel Kohn-Bedit immer häufiger für die interessen der vorig griechischen Regierung ein übrigens trifft er sich immer mehr mit Politikern aus Griechenland und wird auch von der griechischen Akademie gelobt. Ohne ein wesentliches Argument zu haben, versucht er dem Mädchen auszuweichen, indem er seine Einstellung zum Krieg in Serbien damit begründet, dass 80% Prozent der Griechen für die Serben waren. Aber die ist nur die halbe Wahrheit.

Herr Bendit bezieht sich auf die Gefühle des griechischen Volkes und gar nicht auf die Aktionen und Handlungen der griechischen Regierung, die eigentlich während des Krieges neutral war Im Gegenteil zur amerikanischer und deutschen Regierung, die ohnehin die kroatischen und muslimischen Seiten mit WQaffen geliefert haben. Damit haben sie zusammen mit den Russen, die gleichfalls die Orthodoxen Serben unterstützten, dazu geführt, dass dieser unbeschreiblicher Krieg weiter fortgesetzt wird.

Herr Bendit, Führer der Studenten bei Pariser Mai änderte seine Lebenseinstellung unter dem Motto "Fantasie an die Macht" zum "Realismus des Krieges" und erklärte sich als Anhänger der militärischen Konfrontation der damaligen Zeit. Keib Land hat das Recht, sich militärisch in die inneren Angelegenheiten eines anderen Landes einzumischen. Und nun sehen wir ihn als Gesprächpartner von Herrn Simitis dem Mann, der zum größten Teil die Schuld an der heutigen Situation in Griechenland trägt, und der sich für die Interessen eines Betrügern einsetzt.

Beide halte ich für lächerlich.

Οραματίζομαι να τους δω να τους πηγαίνουν όλους μαζί στον Εισαγγελέα της Ευελπίδων για να τους απαγγείλει κατηγορίες εσχάτης προδοσίας και να τους προφυλακίζει. Και δεκάδες τηλεοπτικά συνεργεία και δημοσιογράφοι από Ελλάδα και από το εξωτερικό για να καλύψουν το γεγονός. Και μετά να είναι ΟΛΟΙ μαζί, πρώην και νυν πρωθυπουργοί και υπουργοί της τελευταίας εικοσαετίας, στο εδώλιο στην Ειδική Πτέρυγα των φυλακών Κορυδαλλού, σαν τη δίκη της Χούντας. Σαν τη δίκη της Νυρεμβέργης. Σαν τη δίκη των Έξι. Και μετά στη βαθύτερη φυλακή. Γιατί σε αντίθεση με πολλούς συμπολίτες μου που ονειρεύονται κρεμάλες γι' αυτούς, εγώ είμαι κατά της θανατικής ποινής. Να ξέρω ότι σαπίζουν εκεί μέσα.
Αυτό οραματίζομαι.
Μόνο για αυτό θέλω να ζω.

Our connection in Greece

As Naomi Klein states in her famous book "The shock doctrine" revealing the plots of the international profiteers, one of the primary tasks before the financial seizing of a country takes place by international financial scavengers such as the IMF, WB and WTO, is the timely placement of assigned persons to key positions.
So it happened in Greece. After a new scandal broke out last week involving ELSTAT (ΕΛ.ΣΤΑΤ - Greek Statistic Authority), a new public that succeeded the "sinful" ESYE (ΕΣΥΕ - Greek Statistic Service) which was the culprit for the world famous "greek statistics" fiasco before the bailout era (since May '10). One of the biggest aspects of this scandal is that it was revealed that the ELSTAT 's general director Andreas Georgiou was altering the results about the greek economy in favour of the IMF, of whom he was still an employee, and just before the ratification of the "Troyka" (EU-ECB-IMF) financial aid, thus relaying information about the financial status of the greek state directly to Paul Thomsen, even before the greek authorities being informed (!). Andreas Georgiou was appointed by the regime 's ex financial minister and the country 's saleout mastermind, Yorgos Papakonstantinou.
Of course, mastermind Papakonstantinou denies everything without placing a "truth or false argument" but a single statement that "that 's the true, the 15% deficit because it was calculated by ELSTAT".
Eleftherotypia 's article "Greek statistics stinking again" recites a revelation by Zoe Georganta, an ELSTAT directing board member, stating that "the '09 greek deficit was intentionally presented at 15,4 % by Eurostat. It had to look bigger than Ireland 's 14% in order overwhelming measures to be taken against our country", thus a huge profit for both the IMF and ECB.
After last year 's greek police 's Electronic Crimes Department raid at the residence of Mr. Nikos Logothetis, (ELSTAT 's vice president, sued for personal data juggling by president Georgiou) and three laptop confiscations, it was found that a very suspicious triangle of contacts lies between Papakonstantinou, Georgiou and Walter Radermacher, Eurostat 's general director, regarding this plot.
The new finance minister of the regime Vagelis "Beni" Venizelos, too scared to throw out an IMF landlord such as Georgiou, laid off all members of ELSTAT board but him.

I did a small screening in the web, and I created a small shortlist of current or former executives of IMF, the World Bank and rating agencies being appointed at key funds or organizations in Greece, and working as mediators for them:
- Mrs. Elena Panariti, former executive of the World Bank and advisor of Alberto Fujimori, Peru 's former dictator; member of the Parliament for PASOK.
- Mr. Anastassios Gagalis, IMF executive, vice president of the Credit Coherence Fund (ΤΧΣ - Ταμείο Χρηματοπιστωτικής Συνοχής) which is responsible of managing of a 10 bln. euros stake of the first greek bailout (11/5/2011) aiming to aid to greek banks asking for.
- Mr. Petros Christodoulou, former Goldman-Sachs cadre; president of the Public Debt Management Organization (ΟΔΔΗΧ - Οργανισμός Διαχείρισης Δημοσίου Χρέους)
- Mr. Andreas Georgiou, IMF executive (current or former, makes no sense), ELSTAT director.
- Mrs. Miranda Xafa, ex- IMF representative for Greece; although she is hasn 't been assigned (yet) to any state oranization, she is very closely associated with many business political families and often makes public appearances on both TV panels and press with articles on newspapers governed by certain corporations to whom she is affiliated; she is also member of NGOs associated with investments (Sic!)
- Mr. Andreas Papandreou, brother of the Prime Minister; Strategic Committee member of Unigestion.ch, a Swiss private equity fund which also advises on gambling over Credit Default Swaps, thus betting on the country 's bankruptcy (!).

Ο Μολώχ της οικονομίας

Διακρίνεται σιγά-σιγά σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο η μεταβίβαση της εξουσίας από τον πολιτικό χώρο στον επιχειρηματικό. Από εκεί που κάποτε οι πολιτικοί στέκονταν σα ρυθμιστές των οικονομικών εξελίξεων, σήμερα κάθονται σαν ανήμποροι τηλεθεατές την επέλαση των "επενδυτών" απατεώνων, σα να είναι οι οποιοιδήποτε πολίτες και επικαλούμενοι ανώτερες δυνάμεις να τους σώσουν την οικονομία από το χάος το οποίο οι ίδιοι επί σειρές δεκαετιών δημιούργησαν, είτε με τη συναίνεσή τους, είτε με την αδιαφορία τους.
Όλοι πλέον, όχι μόνο οι πολίτες, αλλά και οι πολιτικοί ανεξαρτήτως της ισχύος της χώρας, είτε αυτή είναι η Ελλάδα είτε οι Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες είτε η Γερμανία, παρακολουθούν τις οικονομικές εξελίξεις που αφορούν στις ίδιες τις χώρες στις οποίες έχουν εκλεγεί νομίμως λες και είναι κάτι που είναι πρόβλημα κάποιου τρίτου. Ο ΓΑΠ το καλοκαίρι μαλακιζόταν στη Σκιάθο και ενώ ο κώλος της διπλανής Ιταλίας είχε πιάσει φωτιά με τα ασφάλιστρα των ομολόγων, έκανε κανώ έχοντας ένα αδιάβροχο λάπτοπ μεσοπέλαγα ενώ φουσκωτοί-παπάκια μπανιέρας σε χρώμα κίτρινο με εξωλέμβιες τον προστάτευαν από το λαό του και τα τρομοκρατικά του γιαούρτια. Ο παπάρας ο Κάμερον μπεκρούλιαζε κρασιά της Τοσκάνης και αν δεν του τύχαιναν τα Δεκεμβριανά της Αγγλίας ακόμα εκεί θα ήταν, έλα μου όμως που έπρεπε να συντονίσει τους μπάτσους κατά των Αθλίων του Ουγκώ οπότε με βαριά καρδιά γύρισε πίσω για να κάνει δηλώσεις εναντίων των θλιβερών πλιατσικολόγων που οι φανφαρόνικες νεοφιλελεύθερες πολιτικές του ίδιου και των προκατόχων του δημιούργησαν. Ο κοντός κάνει ορθοπεταλιές ενώ κυκλοφορούν φήμες από τους κερδοσκόπους για το αξιόχρεο της BNP Paribas και διακυβεύοντας το μέλλον του συνόλου της γαλλικής οικονομίας. Θυμούμενος τις ιρλανδικές ρίζες του, ο άλλος ο λιοκαμένος κάθεται και πίνει μπύρες Guiness στο Καμπ Ντέιβιντ και βλέπει εναλλάξ τα τεκταινόμενα για την οικονομία της πατρίδας του όταν ρίχνει διαφημίσεις στο ενδιάμεσο των αγώνων μπέιζμπολ, κάνοντας ταυτόχρονα δηλώσεις γενικής αρλουμπαρίας που ούτε τους υποτακτικούς τους δε μπορούν να πείσουν.
Όλα κι όλα. Μπορεί ο κοσμάκης ανά την υφήλιο να κληθεί να πληρώσει τα σπασμένα της μαλακίας τους, μη χαλάσουν και τη ζαχαρένια τους.

Catchprhases

Seems that all politicians mostly in the financially troubled southern Europe but not only in it, they have a common catchphrase, a slogan dictated by their supervisors, both in the Continent and overseas. It is the typical reaction of a person having fucked up everything and in an effort to ease off the repercussion of his recklessness, he tries to disperse his / her responsibility to the voters. Today, we have two great identical examples:

- "I accept that there 's a failure in the political system. But let 's be fair about it: We all parted."

- "To the outcry against the country 's political personnel about how the money were embezzled, to the people seeking answers about it, the answer is just this one: We 've hired and appointed you [to state services]; We 've all embezzled them together."

Moonlight

Maybe It is the later history 's sign of the times. Maybe it has been so since ever. After WW II the rulers in Greece have the habit of doing everything under the moonlight. Most of prosecutions, executions, illegal state operations and more recently, public works, usually take place in the very early morning hours. They are severely trespassing the law threshold but the rulers get away them almost harmlessly and leave great profits to their allied businessmen.
It was 4 o' clock after midnight Sunday when Nikos Beloyannis and his five comrades were secretly executed in 1953; not even the Nazis were executing on Sundays but the Greek fascist regime did it to anticipate the impact of the domestic and international pressuse against the court-martial 's verdict.

Dozens of bulldozers and heavy lorries started banking up olive tree groves in Megara, under the military junta regime 's permission in 1974, in order to pave the place to construct a new refinery for Andreadis, a well-known crook heavily backing the regime with financial means. It was only the locals' immediate response and heavy demonstrations who stopped this violation and made the corporate and police forces to retreat.

Even more recently, Yannis Ragousis, the regime 's Internal Affairs minister, ordered the construction machines to move to Keratea to start working to create an illegal, out-of-any environmental law norm dump site next to the village in order to anticipate the local residents' reaction. Despite this project was rejected by several verdicts of the regional court of justice, the regime feared that any delay would place the whole project to a stake, thus creating a loss for the businessman, the bank and the construction company undertaking the project and a strong affiliate to the regime. The contractor 's construction machines, JCBs, graders and jackhammer compressors arrived at the site in a two riot police squads (MAT) escort and without bearing license plates. The citizens, descendants of a tribe called Arvanites, known for their stubborn character and their persistence, resisted fiercefully to the plot incited by the regime. This made the regime to back off and to negotiate with the municipality and the residents to a more viable solution.

And finally, a new act of cowardess came into light, last night.

As real coward, being aware of its illegal deeds, being afraid of the publicity and public opinion, the regime ruling now the country decided that "the public order in Syntagma square has been διασαλευτεί" . So they decided to "clean up" from the unacceptable "εικόνα" that the central square resembles. Yorgos Kaminis, once-radical mayor of Athens, together with the DA on duty and the support of dozens of riot policemen, ordered 25 lorries to destroy the demonstrating dissidents' camp in Syntagma square, with the excuse of "environlemntal laws violation!". The mayor, since he has been elected to restore the historical center 's good looking, has left the whole area beyond the City Hall into almost Third World situation. It is a place it could best be described as a "human dump site". The Doctors Without Borders organization states that this area has all these characteristics to be considered as a Third-World area concerning drugs trafficking, prostitution, heavy crime, homeless greeks, homeless illegal immigrants, undescribable hygiene conditions.
Eight people were arrested: four Greeks, two Frenchmen, one German and one Romanian, all being accused of violating enironmental regulations (sic!).
And when the people appeared again on Saturday night for their usual daily assembly, a riot police (yes!) lineup was obstructing them of gathering in the center of the square, thus fiercely violating one of the foundamental articles of the Greek Constitution: this is the eleventh article, the one of the right of peaceful gathering and assemblying.

Πρώην οδηγός της ΕΘΕΛ ο "χασάπης του Όσλο";

Φήμες άρχισαν να διαδίδονται όταν ανώτατο στέλεχος της Κρατικής Ασφάλειας του Όσλο βλέποντας το επίμαχο βίντεο που αναρτήθηκε στο διαδίκτυο μετά την επεισοδιακή διαδήλωση της 29ης Ιουνίου στο κέντρο της Αθηνας, φέρεται να δήλωσε ότι αναγνώρισε στο πρόσωπο ενός εκ των αναξιοπαθούντων ροπαλοφόρων της ΕΘΕΛ που περιθάλπονταν με στοργή από αστυνομικούς των ΜΑΤ στον περίβολο της Βουλής, τον άνθρωπο που προσπάθησε, με χλιαρή εμφανώς αποδοχή, να καθαρίσει την Ευρώπη από τη μάστιγα του Ισλάμ την περασμένη Παρασκευή στη νορβηγική πρωτεύουσα.
Η δήλωση προκάλεσε την έντονη αντίδραση της Ελληνικής Αστυνομίας, που έσπευσε να διαψεύσει τον Νορβηγό αξιωματικό και να διευκρινίσει ότι ουδεμία σχέση έχει ο μακελάρης του Ούτεϊγια με τα συγκεκριμένα πρόσωπα. Ο εκπρόσωπος της ΕΛ.ΑΣ. ξεκαθάρισε ότι οι εμφανιζόμενοι στο βίντεο δεν είναι τίποτε παραπάνω από απλοί ροπαλοφόροι οδηγοί της ΕΘΕΛ και ουδέποτε εμπλέκονται σε εγκληματικές πράξεις, εκτός εάν αυτές αφορούν επιχειρήσεις - σκούπα κατά μεταναστών στο κέντρο της Αθήνας. Επίσης εξήγησε ότι οι εν λόγω εμφανιζόμενοι συνεισφέρουν εθελοντικά στο έργο της Αστυνομίας και έχουν μετατρέψει το καταστατικό της οργάνωσής τους σε Μη Κυβερνητικής Οργάνωσης (ΜΚΟ). Ο εκπρόσωπος μάλιστα έφτασε σε σημείο να ζητήσει από το Νορβηγό συνάδελφό του να ανακαλέσει τους ισχυρισμούς του, καθώς υποστηρίζει ότι αυτοί πλήττουν "συνολικά την αξιοπιστία των Ελλήνων νεοναζί, τους στιγματίζει σαν εγκληματίες και αμαυρώνει την ιδιότητά τους ως εθελοντών της ΕΛ.ΑΣ. Επίσης, ότι αποθαρρύνει τη "δημιουργία διεθνούς φασιστικού θέρετρου ("resort") στη χώρα μας, το οποίο θα μπορούσε να συνεισφέρει στην τουριστική ανάπτυξη της χώρας, διοργανώνοντας κυνήγι κεφαλών μεταναστών για τουρισμό υψηλού εισοδηματικού προφίλ που μαζί με τα γήπεδα γκολφ έχει τόσο ανάγκη ο τόπος".

Επίσης, σε γνωστή σελίδα του διαδικτύου αναρτήθηκε δήλωση του επικεφαλής των εν λόγω οδηγών, ο οποίος φέρεται να αποποιείται οποιωνδήποτε επαφών με τον Νορβηγό, καταγγέλοντάς τον ως "μη αυθεντικό φασίστα". Πιο συγκεκριμένα, ανέφερε ότι "δρα αποσπασματικά και όχι συλλογικά υπέρ της Τελικής Λύσης για τους μετανάστες καθώς μαζικές εκκαθαρίσεις, διοργανωμένες όμως συλλογικά από ΜΚΟ όπως η Χρυσή Αυγή, προσδίδουν υψηλό κύρος στο έργο αυτό σε αντίθεση με τις ενέργειες ενός μεμονωμένου ατόμου". Επίσης, πρόσθεσε με έμφαση ότι "Όταν, κρίνεται απαραίτητο να γίνει εμπρησμός π.χ. σε μια συναγωγή, πρέπει να τηρούνται όλες οι νομικές διατάξεις και οι κανόνες εμπλοκής και όχι να γίνονται παραβάσεις και παρατυπίες που δημιουργούν αλγεινές εντυπώσεις στην κοινή γνώμη και αμφιβολίες για το έργο μας και τον υψηλό σκοπό μας".

He now states that the countries in trouble need to waive of their sovereignity. This is happening only after the successful accomplishment of a project where Greece surrendered its sovereignity by willingfully signing the Intercreditor Agreement in May 2010, carefully designed, edited and brought to be signed only to Schauble 's loyal puppet 's attention, the subservient Yorgos Papakonstantinou. This Loan Contract was created by an English lawyer company coming to prominence in the 80s and 90s on the saleout of the biggest state owned british companies under the Thatcher regime. The applicable right for any disputes ever occur will be the English law, a legal system known well for its flaws and ambiguity which favor the lending party.

Seems that the whole strategy is working well. As Europe and the US are constantly and irreversibly dragged to the loan markets' blackhole maelstrom by continuous lending that nobody anymore believes that will ever be paid off, just before the final dive to the abyss where the scavengers will lacerate the bodies once forming the nations' society and economy, like a gamma-ray burst, the governments and the banks are trying to take advantage of the complete mayhem to profiteer even this very moment. Until then, the kind of reassurements like "no citizens' deposits are in risk", "the country 's economy is slowly transitioning again to growth", "citizens have nothing to be afraid of" will resonate in the brain-washing news bulletins, while all facts emerging from the statistics and the real economy are denying them.
It seems we are watching a pathetic operetta. Frau Merkel, Monsieur Sarko, Trichet are starring and Yorgakis Papandreou, Zapatero, Coelho, Kenny and Berlusconi are the walk-outs. Mr. Schäuble is another disgusting shade in the colour pallette of the bankers/ministers alliance. Now, the masks have fallen. We distinguish them anymore. We know which thing represent one another and what are their intentions. I ask the German people to kick them out of ruling their lives, him and his supervisor.

The greek bailout, the controlled bankruptcy and the police brutality

My dear friends abroad, I wrote an email trying to explain the recent events (28-29 June in Greece) about the new Midterm Loan Agreement, the Applicational lawbill, the audacity, arrogance and corruption of the two ruling parties of the major political scene and the Amnesty International condemned riot police forces. Because of the length of the text, the demand and the people I have omitted to send, I transferred the text and the comments to my blog. The text is in english. My apologies for not translating to other languages being capable of (Bulgarian and French). Please translate it in your native language and forward it.

As known, on June 29th 2011, the greek government brought a new lawbill which delivers the sume of Greece 's assets to private hands. This option was included as a condition in the Loan Facilitation Contract of May 8th, 2011. This contract was signed by a mere one minister alone, ex-finance minister Yorgos Papakonstantinou and never being brought to the Parliament. According to the Constitution of Greece, this agreement should be ratified by a 3/5 enhanced majority of the greek MPs (180 minimum favoring votes required), as the article 28 of the Greek Constitution commands for agreements concerning the country 's national sovereignity. The replacing finance minister, Evangelos Venizelos, before being assigned to his new post, stated 15 days ago that this lawbill should be approved by a 180 votes enhanced majority, a statement that has refrained of, since ever. This enhanced majority ratification never happened. The complete unconstitutionality of this action can be seen on the condition:

"Neither the Borrower nor any of its property are immune on the grounds of sovereignty or otherwise from jurisdiction, attachment – whether before or after judgement – or execution in respect of any action or proceeding relating to the Agreement."

All these elaborations, in practice, mean that the borrowers, (every private "investor", international organization, crook, etc.), can confiscate every asset belonging to the state as compensation and withdrawal from the right of any legal appealing objection from the greek state side. No matter whether this is Acropolis, an ore mine, oil field, a fighterjet or a nice beach.
Nothing is immune of confiscation.
Of course, as anybody knows, a usurer never wants his borrower to pay off, as he can suck his savings continuously. The same applies now: Greece has not been squeezed yet. Why should an investor buy any public infrastructure now for i.e. 7 billion euros, while after the forthcoming bankruptcy could be sold for a single euro? Vultures are patient: they fly and wait until the animal below has died.
The EU/IMF/ECB anxiety about Greece 's bankruptcy is simply fake: when the country's economy will have been brought to a Third World country 's condition, no investment-evaluation company will be anxious of a "credit incident", disrupting and destabilizing the world market of money transferring that makes these companies live. Nobody cares if Mauritania declared bankruptcy. So will happen here. (No offence please to the hard-struggling people of the afore-mentioned country, it is just an example).

Dear friends, please don' t underestimate the dangers. Don 't be fooled by just assuming that Greece has been brought to this situation because of the corruption (a real factor), or people 's lazyness (a common stereotype for the southern europeans). These are small parts of the equation. We can see what happened to Iceland and Ireland, previously gloryfied by the international evaluation companies and praised by the financial newspapers as "heavens for investments". They were previously referred as paradeigms for prosperity and wealth as "celtic tigers", "Nordic tigers", while blaiming them as dumb-headed crooks and drunkards on the next day. The world 's bankers and capitalists can easily throw whole countries in the junk, when less profit is expected than forecasted.
Greece is the first field of experimentation, an international capital's plans of a "pilot episode" in Europe for paving a way for more countries to follow, the ones with the weakest economies first.
I recommend the reading of Naomi Klein 's book "The Shock Doctrine" and Avi Lewis' subsequent documentary (6 parts), a couple of Canadian Jews and activists, as a robust and revealing reference for the IMF 's and World Bank 's interventions in the developing countries.

Concluding, the greek government has no constitutional right of applying such a "colonisation" lawbill that undermines the country 's future for at least one or two generations. This government has to step down, and both its members ("PASOK" - so called "socialists"), together with the leading opposition party ("Nea Dimokratia" - rightwings / conservatives) to be brought to justice for their irresponsible financial management of the last decades. They are illegal, they offend the Constitution, they are traitors, they are puppets of their powerful friends and bosses. NO, THIS COUNTRY IS NOT FOR SALE. NO COUNTRY OF THE WORLD IS FOR SALE. It is forbidden by the 1969 Vienna Convention.


Regarding the unprecended riots and unbelievable police brutality that took place in the greater Athens historical centre on Wednesday, June 29th:

Given the size of the gathered crowd, the numerous squads of the riot police (MAT) were beating indescretely and posing a continuous threat for the the security of peacefully protesting common people in the Square. The stewards (demonstration marshals) proved too few and unexperienced to cope with hordes of fascists, neo-nazis, police agents provocateurs, and individual vandals storming the Square 's plateau, the demonstrators' camp and the shops neighbouring the Square. After that, the police started raiding the whole historical centre by brutally attacking almost everybody looking like "youngster", "demostrator" or even tourist, by parading on motorbikes and throwing shock grenades and teargas over the Monastiraki area and even attacking and beating people inside the Acropolis metro station, just next to the Acropolis Museum, almost one kilometer away of the Syntagma Square. This is simply unbelieavable. Not even under the '67-'74 military junta was there a beatup like this.
Of course the government has given certain orders to the police leaders and don 't give a damn whether the center of the city was like a warzone. No officials resignations, nothing. Everything is OK.
In the weekend, the Socialist International, presided by Yorgos Papandreou with current members guys like Bill Clinton and former members dictators like Tunisia 's Ben Ali, Egypt 's Hoshni Mubarak and Libya 's Moammar Ghedaffi, is conferencing in Asteras, one of the most luxurius hotels of the country, despite the crisis.

Ο Κοντός με τη γραβάτα και ο Χοντρός με την πανσέτα

Στην πολιτική ατζέντα της εβδομάδας κυριαρχούν δύο παλικάρια.
Ο ένας κάνει πραγματικά το παλικάρι εναντίον της Λιβύης και του ρεάλιτυ-σόου ηγέτη της. Από την άλλη σαν γνήσιος πλασιέ, παίζει γελοία παιχνίδια εντυπώσεων απέναντι στον ιαπωνικό λαό με τη δυστυχία που τους έχει βρει από την προηγούμενη Παρασκευή με το σεισμό, τα τσουνάμια και τα πυρηνικά. Αυτός ο καραγκιόζης προσπαθεί να υπερασπιστεί το πυρηνικό λόμπι της χώρας του, καθώς αυτή παράγει το 75% της ενέργειάς της από αυτά τα τσουκάλια, καθώς λέει ότι "εκεί, είναι ασφαλή, δεν έχουν σεισμούς". Ούτε και στο Τσέρνομπιλ είχαν. Εκεί είχαν άλλα, όπως π.χ. ανθρώπινη μαλακία οι αρχιμηχανικοί. Και αλλού στο μέλλον (ποιος ξέρει, εδώ δίπλα στην Τουρκία ή στη Βουλγαρία) θα κάτι άλλο να ειπωθεί, του στυλ "θα έπρεπε να έχει γίνει ή να έχει προβλεφθεί", όταν γίνει η επόμενη μαλακία.

i-στο-διάολο λοιπόν, κόπανε.

Στους υποστηρικτές της πυρηνικής ενέργειας που κόπτονται ότι "θα μπορούσε να λύσει το ενεργειακό μας πρόβλημα, τα πράγματα έχουν εξελιχθεί από το Τσέρνομπιλ, δεν είμαστε Ρωσάκια, οι Γιαπωνέζοι ήταν εκτός προδιαγραφών" κτλ, κτλ, καλό είναι να γνωρίζουν ότι όταν γίνεται η μαλακία όλοι τρέχουν και λένε "αφού τους το είχαμε επισημάνει, το WikiLeaks το έγραφε, αν γίνονται ανθρώπινα λάθη δε σημαίνει ότι φταίει η τεχνολογία", ένα έχω να πω: το πρόβλημα δεν είναι η τεχνολογία, αλλά οι άνθρωποι. Και από τη στιγμή που δεν είμαστε σε θέση να τη διαχειριστούμε και είμαστε ανίκανοι για να αναλάβουμε ευθύνες για τις συνέπειές της, πρέπει να την παρατήσουμε πίσω. Γιατί κάποιος αυτή τη στιγμή μπορεί να έχει κάνει κάποια αναφορά μη καταλληλότητας για κάποιο έργο ή κάποια τεχνολογία σε κάποιο σημείο του πλανήτη το οποίο να θεωρείται πρότυπο ασφαλείας, αλλά να τον αγνοούν όλοι μπροστά στη νηφαλιότητα και την ευδαιμονία του κέρδους.

Και πως άλλωστε, ποιον θα άφηνε ασυγκίνητο ένας τέτοιος όγκος π ο λ ι τ ι κ ή ς ; Όντας αριστούχος απόφοιτος της Σχολής Δημοσιογραφίας Γκαίμπελς, αγνοώντας τη μήνη των κατοίκων του χωριού στο οποίο αγνοώντας δικαστικές αποφάσεις οι φίλοι του οι εργολάβοι πάνε να φτιάξουν σκουπιδότοπο, πάει με απροκάλυπτο θράσος να ντερλικώσει αρνάκια και δέχεται τρομοκρατική επίθεση γιαουρτιών από το εξοργισμένο πλήθος.
Σαν Χοιρινό που είναι, συνεχίζει σα να μην έγινε τίποτα, να προσπαθεί να ταΐσει την Κοιλιά Χωρίς Πάτο με την ίδια μαεστρία που προσπαθεί να ταΐσει τις Αγορές με τα απομεινάρια των σωμάτων των συμπολιτών του, όπως του υπέδειξε το Αφεντικό του. Και δίπλα του η πρώην υποψήφια δήμαρχος Σαρωνικού (με αδιάβλητα κριτήρια) και συμπτωματικά σύζυγός του, και μπροστά τους οι διμοιρίες των ΜΑΤ. Έξοχη επιλογή να απολαμβάνεις την πανσέτα.
Και την επόμενη να κατηγορεί την αριστερά για το γιαούρτωμα. Προσωπικά το γνώριζα πριν καν το ξεστομίσει, ήμουν σχεδόν πεπεισμένος. Αλλά όπως και ο Γκαίμπελς, στο τέλος όλο και κάποιος ψηφοφόρος του ή μη θα πειστεί ότι για όλα φταίνε αυτοί. Μέχρι που να εξαφανιστούν για να επιλεγεί ο επόμενος στόχος.
Ποιος θα είναι ο επόμενος στόχος του άραγε για την κατάντια της χώρας; Οι γιατροί που απεργούν; Οι οδηγοί των λεωφορείων; Οι "δεν πληρώνω"; Οι αγρότες που κλείνουν τους δρόμους;
Άγνωσται αι βουλαί του Χοιρινού.

Sleep safe, SWIFT is watching you

A few days before I was at the bank to do some business. As a part of the transaction, I was given a contract to sign. I was attracted by one of the conditions, stating that "by signing this document, the customer agrees that should any SWIFT (Society of Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) service is used, the data related to this financial transaction will be transfered to them. The SWIFT institution is based in Belgium. For security reasons, these data are then transfered to special backup database that is kept in the United States. In this database, similar data from all European Union banks are recorded and the US authorities (such as the Department of theTreasury) targeting to terrorism and illegal activties revenue legalization avoidance have the right to access it".
So, to make it more clear: our web transactions between countries are all kept and recorded by a Belgium-based institution for the sake of the US government. At my question about whether a third party has the right to access the database (i.e. a country being interested on a certain transaction and not belonging to the transacting parties), the bank clerk answered me: no.
Back home, I googled a part of the conditions and as I was expecting, the search returned very few results:only 21. This gives a scale on the mysticism that usually obscures the handling of such sensitive and personal data transactions. A US institution using general terms such as "terrorism" and "illegal activities" gains the sole access to common people 's personal information. And no other country has the right to access it! Unbelievable concession!

Media shows no merCSI

Recently I had to watch a highly-acclaimed police TV-series. As a typical TV opponent, I have yet sustained the ability to distinguish the errors and inconsistencies that mass media fail to locate within the food they serve to their sheep. I was highly impressed by the lightness and naivety this modern serial.
The script falls into sequential contradictions. In the plot, a smart, gothic-styled, always-cool, always-smiling lady that works for a highly-intellingent criminological agency in the United States, goes for drink at her favorite neo-romantic club with her highly-intelligent colleague where she gets kidnapped with a highly-intelligent criminal. Of course, there, in the middle of the dancing crowd, nobody shows attention that a person is being kiddnapped. Seconds after, her colleague notices her absence and as it usually happens, in just a few minutes the whole of her service accomplishes the impossible, to locate the criminal and the victim. Of course, she is being saved at the last moment with an acrobatic style attack by one of her colleagues by shooting down the bad guy while dangling from the roof.
In a matter of minutes, even after that otherwise shocking, traumatic expirience that would be in real life, she is back at the office, smiling and celebrating with her colleagues like a cheerleader back at the office like nothing has happened, ready to go immediately back to work.
Nomatter that a bloodbath was behind, nomatter that was captive with anesthesia. Like that even the killing of such a genious criminal was "just another case" for this extra smart police agency. Thus taking a life, nomatter that belongs to a criminal is just another workday in the office. Without traces, without hesitations, without remorses, without mercy. And the spectators, now relaxed, going to sleep.
Most possibly because the feeling of surviving through death and blood has nested deeply in the mind of the millions of spectators that cannot see the real essence behing the fanciful chases and shootings and needs only the instict to prevail so for it to appear all of a sudden in our daily lives.

The Parliament fire

The tragic loss of three innocent people and various clashes in front of the parliament building. These people threatened by their bosses on losing their jobs if going on strike, were suffocated to death by one God (or Marx) knows who, threw petrol bombs inside a bank branch. In difficult times throughout history, it was always very easy to provoke disaster and then to put the blame on the opponents.
Familiar as is this country with provocations, dozens of neonazi teams affiliated to the ultraright fascist party of the parliament were equipped with the communist party 's trade union flags. They were standing in front of the Unknown Soldier monument and tolling the crowd with the disgusting moto "burn down the parliament-brothel", who was standing past a thick line of the guarding volunteers of the communists' trade union. Hopefully, their call on assaulting the parliament building failed, but this did not obstruct their illiteral and populistic leader of blaiming on the communist leadership in the assembly.
Far-rightists are known agents provocateurs during the last century. This reminds me of something very similar that was crowned with success and finally led to a fire far bigger than this... Just imagining a Goering-Dimitrov conversation in the assembly....

Force majeure

Τις μέρες του Πάσχα τις πέρασα στο χωριό. Αρνιά, κατσίκια, κοκορέτσια. Η εποχή είναι πάντα όμορφη, οι εναλλαγές του καιρού συνεχείς: για κάποιο λόγο, το Πάσχα το έχω συνδυάσει όχι με ηλιόλουστες μέρες, αλλά συννεφιά με μπόρες που κατεβαίνουν από τα βουνά της Αρκαδίας και δίνουν στο τοπίο κατά μήκος του Κορινθιακού κόλπου μια πένθιμη (αλλά και πολύ ατμοσφαιρική) απόχρωση. Μάλλον ταιριάζουν στο πνεύμα των ημερών.
Στο χωριό οι συναντήσεις με συγγενείς και γνωστούς και η ανταλλαγή νέων (και κουτσομπολιών) είναι στα εκ των ουκ άνευ. Και φυσικά η πρεμούρα των γονιών με τους γάμους. "Αχ, στο ράφι θα μείνουν τα παιδιά μας". Και έτσι ανάμεσα σε κάρβουνα, ταψιά και ψητά και Πάριο περνάει η γιορτή μελαγχολικά, με τη συγκυρία σαν κατάρα που βαραίνει την οικογένεια, λες και από κάποια γωνιά θα εμφανιστεί ο από μηχανής γαμπρός, η νύφη, τα πεθερικά και θα τους λυτρώσουν όλους. Μόνο οι πορσελάνες και τα κρύσταλλα λείπουν.
Πρώην που παντρεύτηκε και έκανε παιδί και καμαρώνει σαν το γύφτικο σκεπάρνι. Ο betabug μου είπε πρόσφατα αναπαράγοντας τα λόγια του Willhelm Busch, "Vater werden ist nicht schwer, Vater sein dagegen sehr". Τις προάλλες σε μπαρ, μια κοπέλα της παρέας που είχα βγει, μου την έπεφτε εντελώς απροκάλυπτα και ψιλομεθυσμένη καθώς ήταν με ρωτούσε μεγαλόφωνα (είχαμε γίνει βούκινο):
"Γιατί είσαι μόνος σου;"
"Δε θέλεις να κάνεις παιδιά;"
"Δε θέλεις να παντρευτείς;"
Λάθος ερώτηση: πριν φτάσουμε στο γάμο...ας γυρίσουμε την ταινία λίίίγο πιο πίσω... και να θέσουμε το ερώτημα αλλιώς: "γιατί δε θέλουμε να κάνουμε όμορφες σχέσεις;" Μα φυσικά, γιατί περνάμε καλά και μόνοι μας! Η ζωή μας σήμερα μας δίνει τη δυνατότητα να κάνουμε ένα σωρό πράγματα κλεισμένοι στον εγωισμό μας, μπορούμε να μας παρέχουμε τα πάντα χωρίς να νοιώθουμε την ανάγκη να το μοιραστούμε με έναν άλλο. Χωρίς να εκτειθόμαστε, χωρίς να πληγωνόμαστε. Αποφεύγουμε το ρίσκο να αγαπήσουμε προκειμένου να αποφύγουμε και τον ελάχιστο πόνο. Σαν άρρωστος από καρκίνο που πριν από το χειρουργείο φοβάται την αναισθητική ένεση για να μην πονέσει. Και έτσι προτιμούμε να πλάθουμε ουτοπικούς έρωτες μέσα στα όνειρα για μια μοιρασιά που μάλλον δε θα έρθει ποτέ, αφήνοντας το εγώ μας να μας κουμαντάρει στην πραγματική ζωή. Το όραμα δε γίνεται ποτέ πράξη, γιατί απλούστατα αναπαράγεται μέσα στο κεφάλι και δεν φτάνει ποτέ έξω. Και φτιάχνουμε ένα πανέμορφο κήπο στην πίσω αυλή του μυαλού μας, που όμως δε μπορούμε να μοιραστούμε με κανένα γιατί είναι φτιαγμένος να χωράει μόνο εμάς τους ίδιους.
"Γιατί δε θέλεις να παντρευτείς;"
Ο γάμος είναι σαν το αυτοκίνητο: το αγοράζεις μάλλον επειδή έχουν και οι άλλοι, παρά επειδή το έχεις πραγματικά ανάγκη. Και αρχίζεις να ανακαλύπτεις ότι τελικά αυτό που ήθελες πραγματικά είναι πολύ διαφορετικό, έχεις φεσωθεί στα δάνεια για να το πάρεις, σου αποστερεί άλλα πράγματα, σου κοστίζει σε τέλη, ασφάλειες, ανταλλακτικά, βενζίνες, το 4x4 δε σου χρειάζεται γιατί στα χιόνια πας σπάνια ενώ δε στην Αθήνα χιονίζει μια φορά στα 3-4 χρόνια και δε μπορείς να κάνεις απόσβεση, είναι γκουμούτσα δε μπορείς να το παρκάρεις πουθενά, στο γρατζουνάνε, δεν το χαίρεσαι... Επιμένεις να το έχεις όμως, μάλλον γιατί είναι "το αυτοκίνητό σου", ο αμφίβολος ζωτικός χώρος σου στη ζούγκλα του "έξω κόσμου", παρά γιατί σε εξυπηρετεί...

Carnival in Skyros

Like last year, I chose the island of Skyros to spend the three-day holiday of Καθαρά Δευτέρα (the Orthodox Lent) which is celebrated together with Αποκριά (Carnival). Having spent successive years in the past going at my origins village outside of Rio (close to Patra) and being pissed off by the commercialization and degradation of the country 's biggest urban carnival, the option of Skyros has emerged well into my annual calendar: close to my native town, Χαλκίδα, dense ferry schedules, and plus, my buddy, who 's serving as a doctor in the island 's tiny hospital.
The island is a personal must; it has many things I adore: a jagged landscape, diversified with forested areas in one side and rough treeless slopes on the other, local folk traditions continuing strong and a very vivid, deeply pagan carnival with loyal fans.
Until the last moment, there was a small debate between me and my companion of going there or not, since the weather forecast for the holiday was quite bad. My initial plans were to go there by motorbike, but F. 's strong objection made me take my car.
The route from Athens to the ferry port of Kymi was changing continuously from rain to sunshine in a very frequent rate, though very scenical and picturesque. When reaching Kymi, the ferry agent informed us that in the hearing of the bad weather, there were some passenger car tickets cancelations which gave us the opportunity to bring the car to the island and thus relieve us of some 70 euros from our pockets.
Shortly after the fully-packed ferry 's got off the Kymi port to the open sea, it started braving a gale-force wind accompanied by thick and wet snowflakes, ramming onto the deck, making everybody in the gallery staring with an open mouth. The ferry 's deep banking was making the passengers unrest but nontheless, remaining very talkative and loudy. In the distance, the snow-powdered lower altitudes around Kymi were revealing a very unusual scenery for us the people of the cities, but not uncommon for the local, both mainlanders and islanders. In about 10 minutes, the storm ended and a hopeful sun appeared; it was the only bad weather to appear for the whole of the holiday.
The Carnival: The sight of Γέρος, the prominent figure of the sheepherd in black, thick wollen cloak, the 40-50 sheep bells strapped around his waist whom shakes and creates a thunderous noise, as if to scare away the goblins. He covers his face in a mask of an aborted tiny goat skin. The whole sight looks awesome and makes the passers step aside to let him pass, being ecstasized of the enormous noise of the bells created by jumping here and there in the narrow cobblestone streets of the island 's capital. Often he is accompanied by a Κορέλα, a man (or recently a role played also by a woman) dressed in the island 's traditional dress with the face covered by a scarf dancing around him and waving another one. It is said that the figure of Γέρος is apparently a shepherd that most possibly lost his sheep in a storm, gathered their bells and coming down to his cottage in sadness and anger and Κορέλα tries to comfort him. The celebrations reach their peak on Sunday, where 20-30 Γέροι and Κορέλες can be seen gathered together, grooving in ecstasy and shaking their bells and us the tourists taking pictures of them. The Lent is another surprise: all of the people were down on the streets, having put tables, eating, drinking and treating the passers, knwn or not, from early midday to midnight and even later. Almost every local was dressed in the traditional costume, I even noticed some British and Dutch women wearing it! What I liked at most was the friendliness of the people and a common sense of celebration, no just another boring visit to an uknown place, just waiting for the next week to start.
I also visited the Rupert Brooke 's grave in the southern part of the island, a young British pro-war poet perished by malaria and buried there, while en route to Galipoli, scenery of the notorious 1st World War battle, while serving as a soldier. The grave lies in a small olive grove and can be passed almost unnoticed: no signs, no path, nothing; unless told so by the young guard of the military base, not far away from there.
Up on the hills, close to Brooke 's grave, a small heights meadow with a pond had attracted our attention: some of the famous Skyros dwarf-horses had come down off the mountain to relieve their thirst. Wild as hey are, they couldn 't accept our presence, and after we got too close, they fled. Hopefully, I managed to take some pictures of them, thanks to my 300mm telephoto lens.

St. Nikolaos Night: No regrets

Epaminondas Korkoneas, 37, Special Guards police officer, the one that murdered the 15-year boy, a father of 3, a former Marines soldier, appeared before the magistrate. But not exactly. Actually by confessing by memorandum, the "chicken" way, where instead of being interrogated, be asked of questions and answer on them, sent something like a "note", a paper thrown on justice 's face. In this memorandum, he shows no apology, no regrets, nothing, not even pardoning for shooting even the worst criminal, let alone a teenage boy. He instead tries to charge the boy 's side, by accusing it and its company of showing "unacceptable" behaviour and telling some incredible stories about being previously involved in clashes as a football hooligan. The most absurd, is that he already had formed a figure, an opinion about the boy 's profile: about all these rich families children, bored to death about everything and meet into teams to convert their boredom into anger and rage by frequenting Exarchia, meeting with so-called αντιεξουσιαστές, (counter-power radical activists, marked as "terrorists" in Anglosaxon countries) that isult, curse and even throw bottles at police cars. In other words, a real criminal. Hopefully, the boy 's school management has answered strictly on that:

Yes indeed, he was a rich family 's seed and they have all the means to support any investigation and mobilize all their connections to find the truth. But I can 't imagine what hould happen if he was a middle or low-class family child.

December 6th, the St. Nikolaos Night in the greek ortodox calendar. A day that a spark came into a flame. A day that a problem supressed for years, decades maybe, broke loose. When all fallen-into-sleep spectators, filled up with delivery pizzas, dreaming of getting a loan to buy the new shiny SUV that saw at the commercial before the reality show, glanced their youngster on the TV news. He was missing, God knows since when. Actually they were never been interested of what he was doing beyond the usually closed door in the end of the corridor. They had given him everything: a stereo, a Play Station, an iPhone, an iPod and other gadgets. But they had never given him a chance for opening his heart, for showing his dreams, for a hug. They were thinking that their dreams of living between consumer goods should also be his dream. But they were fooled: that little piece of shit was protesting against their lifestyle. And smashing their shrines: the banks. Where their life was beginning and ending, never granted, always borrowed from them. With no dreams, no expectations.

Don 't worry about the damages, they will be added up at the plasma TV 's final price and the bank loan 's interest rate. I am really proud of these schoolchildren: finally, somebody revolts against this miserable lifestyle.
